The two in the floor are for the jack and other stuff. The one behind the rear seats is for the battery and amp.

Re: Toyota Powered VL Calais
Few things to update on.
Boot is pretty much complete but need to get some better pics... New sound deadening and carpet...
The engine mount rubber was pretty much stuffed and the original adapters were only a temp solution back in '04 to get it all running. So using some HK rubber mounts (due to the bolt mounting tabs rather than captive studs like on later model V8 mounts) made up some new adapters...
Original mounts... New..

Re: Toyota Powered VL Calais
They are HK/HG/HT Holden V8 mounts, A1135 from your local parts place. Took a bit of searching to find the part number but are what most conversion places are selling as the universal rubber mount. They sell them in a package with different steel adapters to suit each type of engine conversion.

Re: Toyota Powered VL Calais
yeah the location of the bolts on the sides of them makes them much more friendly than the holden v8 mount!

Re: Toyota Powered VL Calais
Will add more updates but she is finally running again, had been holding out on filling the tank to calibrate the dash until things were closer to ready. Started first turn of the key after sitting for over a year
This is running 11P to drive the VY cluster. The horrible noise is not the fuel pump but the worlds noisiest elec antenna.
