Found the little culprit that prevent the software from performing the automated car detection. During the freeze frame reading, Iv only got it setup for ECUs that have freeze frame codes.. I didnt know what happens when no freeze frames exist!

Eg:
Found: 7E8 03 7F 12 78 00 00 00 00
Found: 7E8 03 52 01 00 00 00 00 00

So we have our standard 7F 12 78 meaning Im slow.. wait a moment... and then the proper answer.

So it looks like, 03 52 01 00 simply means theres no fault codes available.

I am curious if when 1 freeze frame exists.. if this will be one a single frame as well.... Will have to try faking it to the tech2 maybe.

Decided to see what was behind door number 1.. and this is what we see on a E55 pcb... wasnt too surprised to see no eeprom. Although I dont see any recognizable chips or even writing there.

True that!. Little bastard has so much hot glue used on it, took a good 20mins+ just to scrap it off and open it up. I was hoping to be sneaky and find some sort of eeprom. But guessing everything must be locked away in internal eeproms

If I can find our high res camera, Ill try get a better image of the main cpu.

You can see in the image (kinda) random stray wires going into the casing. Covering that entire area is a sticky glue type substance. You can see the glue compared to the ecu casing up on the right side where is kinda wavey as well as at the button right.

Man it's amazing what they can do with so little these days. Is that a CPU surrounded by all those parked cars?
Maybe there's more underneath the board

Looks like google Earth.. Like a big square shopping mall with 100's of cars and a few fast food places dotted around

I suspect that these are earth wires going by the gauge and distribution.
