Re: My Delcoed Rides

so I've been working away in the back ground, and not racing, at Gunnedah quite a few people asked me why I didn't bring my car, and getting hassled from all angles!

anyways my brother bought my current slicks off me so I have put that money towards a new set of slicks and figured while I was at it I should get the proper rear rims for the car!

turns out the riddler brand on the front they don't make in a commodore offset :( I think the most was 4.5 inch backspace, and I need 5.7 inch to match 7 inch wide chaser rims, so I looked at weld wheels, they are about $60 more per rim but they have a 5.5 inch back space so that works out nicely!

so I put my order in and turns out there is approx. 6 weeks wait on the slicks, but the rims came straight away!! hopefully the tyres will turn up in time for December Gunnedah drags .... it will roughly leave me 1 week to get them on the rims and fitted before I have to leave!

anyways, I got a rim bolted up, looks good :) well as good as it can without a tyre hehe

the chip seems to be something that's designed to take inputs and modify the output, ie. coolant temp sensor .. but as it turns out all it does it sends the same thing back out, and theres a heaps of circuits which just do nothing more than make a tri colour led flash, and make it look like more than a resistor in a box!
