hey guys got the been busy with work and the car ive moved the battery to the boot and moved the turbo inlet to behind the headlight to help it get some cooler air and i have spent the last 3-4 days installing this water meth kit has been a mission but ive finally finished the install ill be uploading the migrated bin over the the nvram and giving it a new tune ill let you guys know how i go also i got the snow performance stage one kit seemed like a good kit the only problem i had was they didn't supply enough of the feed line for the methanol as ive put the reservoir in the boot along with the pump so i had to get some from work apart from that it apears to be quite a good kit i might get a lager reservoir later but for now it should be goo cheers dane :punk: :turbo: :punk:

hey guys just got back from tuning the commy with the water meth kit it goes so good on the same boost so much that the standard clutch cant keep up and it was slipping in fourth so looks like its time for a hd even though its a brand new clutch oh well it will also probably need a lager reservoir for the meth as it used half of the tank in just a few hours but apart from that it goes off with the water meth a good upgrade i recommend it :)

Id stick with manual.

I've had awesome experience with manual. so tough, long lasting a reliable.

can't say the same with autos though. most I had, had some problems of sorts.

I'd like to 600,000km of abuse on an auto, cos thats what my manual is approaching quickly. Never been rebuilt yet.

What box are you running?

I recommend the following option for a boosted engine.

Stock v6 T5 with PPG straight cut 1-4 high performance gear set, optional 5th gear.

T56 conversion

TKO500 or TKO600 conversion.

The PPG set is the most expensive by its self but works out far less work and similar cost when considering the whole conversion of the other 2 options.

Its as simple as buying the gear set and having a trans shop install it, or send your box to PPG and have them install it, or do it yourself if you know how to rebuild T5s

Put it back in the car as a normal T5 and you're done!

I have a t-56 behind holden V8 stroker and 4:11's in the 9" and it's awsome, it jumps out of the hole and cruises at 100kph @ 1800rpm, best of both worlds

I kept all the commodore hydraulic thrust bearing and then modified the commodore master to the firewall and clutch pedal, kept all the geometry the same and it works a treat, nice light clutch and even the mrs can drive it home if I have a few extra frothies ! Where abouts are you located Dylan ? Anywhere near Hamilton ?
