Contact the user 88GreenVN on the Just Commodores forum, he has lots of VIN info from VN-VS. In fact he tracked VN builds and has a huge spread sheet.

He has gone through some major life changes of late and is making a fresh start so I don't know if he's still has all the info but it can't hurt to try.

That is what carsales is telling me now, but that might be the way they have carsales set up. Will have to find some vins and check again. I have a mate who can look a certain amount of them up for me.

Holden 202t you are right.
Because the new emission law came in in2006 the ls1 was not going to meet,so they dropped the 6l in the last of them instead of stuffing around with the ls1 anymore as it's time was just about up for use in new Holden's anyway.

that and it was a test bed for the VE driveline.
