VZ V8 wiring diagram needed
Hi All,
Kool site!
I'm hoping somebody here can send me the wiring diagram for a 2005 VZ crewman. We are changing out the alloytech V6 for an LS1 and we just need to know more info on wiring loom so we get it right the first time! Yes we have the VZ loom but there are still some issues as there are big difference between the V6 and the V8.
There is a fabulous link here for VY, but we need the same info for VZ
Cheers,
In2hotrods@in2process.com.au

Re: VZ V8 wiring diagram needed
Hi Guys,
Hummm, The motor mechanic dude that's putting the LS1 into my VZ crewman has come back and told me that the info "Apples" sent me isn't quite enough. : ( There is a white plug on the passenger side of the loom that plugs into "Something" under the dash. This is the info that we need. What he keeps telling me is that we need the full factory wiring diagram for all the connections under the dash cause he has to bring the old V6 section of the loom back around to the other side to connect it to the motor. Its all just a bit too hard for me to fully understand to reply to you guys here.
So what we have decided is that he is going to finish off the mechanical stuff and I will bring it back to my shop. So next question is, does anybody know a seriously good auto sparky that can come to my shop and get this thing going. I'm in Cockburn Central, Perth
Many thanks, Scotty 0414 333 909

Re: VZ V8 wiring diagram needed
The full factory wiring diagrams totals 10.7MB the 06 update is like 37MB so don't thing delco hacking / pcm hacking would be to happy if I uploaded all of the wiring for a vz.
The graphics file / connectors and where looms run are 70.3MB the 06 update is 30.3MB.
unless someone has a ftp with lots a room to upload and link back to here then may be able to help.
If you can find out circuit number you need and what diagram you are using may be able to chase the diagrams you require.
