VY BCM wiring digram

Im having issues with the reversing lights not coming on and the car is due for rego soon so i need to get them working, i have looked through the VY engine and trans PDF but its not their so i thinking it might be part of the BCM.

So if anyone has a diagram can you could send it my way that would be helpful, thanks

Do the VYs have an inhibitor switch on shifter like earlier models ? May be a stupid question but have you checked the globes ? Start off with the simple things like earths etc etc can't be too complicated to get 2 bulbs to light up

Not sure about the switch but their is nothing on the actual shifter, possible it has something on the top of the box tho.

Yep pulled the globes and checked them with a multimeter and they are fine also checked for power in the plug and nothing also checked with a separate earth/ground and still nothing. So its up to tracing it out

It won't have an inhibitor switch as it's a manual, but I have replaced a dozen reverse switches on the getrag gearbox if it's a v6. The best way to test is pull the two wires of the switch in the side of the box and jump the two wires with a bit of wire.

It a V6 Getrag box, ill have a look at the switch tomorrow.

Where is it located what side? towards the back front? or is it the only plug?

It is on the top rh side inline with the filler plug,but the only other wire there is the speedo so won't be hard to work out. Cheers

Thanks for that, i didn't think there would have been many plugs being a manual box
