that first drawing i did i used this, which is free. It's what i use most to draw simple things or tweak existing drawings.

There is also this one which is free, it's more script based

for 3D drawings there is alot available on the thingyverse site.

The 3d printer just needs a STL file to cut up for printing.

That twin plenum manifold shown a couple of pages back would be the closest one I've seen and I think it was made by that sicsix crowd.
Back in the 70's the Holden 308 was used in formula 5000 race cars, these had flat plane cranks with 8 trumpet inlet and mechanical injection, they were good for about 500hp

yeah the sicsix one looks like a good start, but i do see issues with even shorter runners than stock and their intake has very sharp edges runner entry.

Could be improved heaps. Like this.

while on topic of inlet manifolds, here are a few pics I dug out of my archive:

twin turbo buick v6 manifold... not a lot of airflow thought came into play here... more ease of piping...

it sure is mate... some more pics here from when we upgraded to 6x ls1 coils http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic. ... 832#p32832

right now its runnign a shift kitted 4L60E with $11P, Vl400 coil driver module piggybacked off the DFI module running 6x ls1 coils, two TD05-18G external gated turbos behind the headlights with the dumps coming straight out the guards, double in /out separated intercooler, 60lb injectors, 3 bar map sensor on 18psi boost through a bog stock unopened VR engine. in about 2 weeks it gets its first run on the dyno so we will see what power it makes and if we have solved the non stop gearbox issues we have had

ill get keen and give it its own thread after the dyno run

I don't know how I missed that thread. What will the car be used for? Drag racing? I have seen many Escort, Cortina & Capri fitted with 351++ engines but this is the first with that combination. Isn't it fun being creative.

yeah they use it for drag racing, its been out a few times, theres still a lot of development and test/tune stuff going on with it but hopefully getting to the pointy end of all the issues!

im sure Jayme has some youtube clips of it racing somewhere!
