i have a whole folder of many custom v6 manifolds somewhere lots of people tried all sorts of different designs over the last 30 odd years LOL
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

Good discussion this! Well i want to atleast try straight adders just below the roof of the plenum and crossover design like on Group A, i think the common theme is like those on alot of performance engines with more design effort put in than a more generic mass produced type of engine. As far as building a whole manifold well my drawing skills lack for that, but the options for ABS plastic are pretty limitless.

I bet a lot!!!HQ355 wrote:Very nice, a lot if time in machining though, if hate to ask how much $$$ ?
though once the design is done, spitting them out is the easy part.
interesting how he says the injectors from underneath allow to target the back of the valves where conventional hits the port floor lol.
i just took a look at ecotec manifold and the injectors are direct line of sight to the back of the valves.
Sounds like chev engines don't have good designs from get go for injector placement?

The NRE manifold lacks dual runner lenghts... but is a wicked bit of kit
Should we hone in on a purpose for a new manifold? Street engine, full blown race engine or economy motor? The NRE manifold would suit high reving engines more than low down torque (which is what most of us need/want for the street) An inlet manifold for the track would be easy, short, large runners.
An inlet manifold that produces the broadest torque range is what design I believe we should focus on... What does everyone think?
