the guy bought it cheap as a bolt on kit. cant put the MAF in the intake tho as the blower is always sucking and using the BOV as a bypass valve of sorts when the throttle is shut. the MAF goes off the charts when it is fully exposed to the intake of the blower at idle. we ended up using the maf exactly where you see it in the picture. problem was he initially started it with that accordion pipe on there. the thing blew up like a balloon when you pressed the pedal hahahahahahaha. I did a base tune on it but havent heard back from him or done a follow up after he got a better intake pipe made to get rid of the accordion bit.

biggest downside is the blower is sorta always boosting unlike L67 which bypasses at idle and essentially becomes two rotors spinning doign nothing. this one is always boosting and compressing air and sends the excess out the BOV

Bov is not a nice solution. Only really works if the Tb is after the blower, but even then I found mine very hard to load tune in certain areas of the tables.

saw the post on my phone today and had some ideas.

I know the early buick used the M62 , fitting between the valley no probs, and I did some snooping for specs.

the newer MP versions of the Eaton range are longer but more narrow. The MP90 is the same width as the old M62, 7.8"

if injector space is an issue you can make even more room with deka short body injectors.

these are 60Lb, can get 80Lb the same as well

I understand that there are some advantages to top mounting the blower, but there are some compromises too. 1st being the outlet will be limited by the available space, intercooler piping has to be longer and the manifold will also be compromised by the installation of the blower on top of it.

There are also disadvantages to side mounting, but it's just something I need to do ;)

The blower can run in any configuration. Upside down for example ;)

with e85 I dont think an intercooler is necessary with top mount large displacement SC. Thing to remember is MAT doesnt reflect real combustion charge temps once inside the cylinder, I wouldn't even worry about. The fuel cools it on the way in, ethanol has huge cooling effect, also E85 is extremely hard to detonate. You'll find that even with 16:1 with boost wont detonate on E85, more than safe with 11:1. Drivability should be a fair bit better with just top mount and no plumbing in the way, that alone will help win races.

Also get a good cam made for the SC, you'll gain heaps with less boost, and even more with more boost. I can come up with a cam if you like?

thats my 2c
