vs ute immobilizer
Hey all i have a buddy with a vs ute and his key fob has f.u.b.a.r, i heard/read a long time ago it can be permanently bypassed holden want to charge 6-$700 to fix any info or insite will be greatly appreciated

Yep. As simple as burning a new eprom with the VATS disabled.

I'd find a different Holden dealer, I had a key fob fail on a VS that I had some years ago, & it was nothing like that amount of money.

Yea HSV8 is correct but if you still want security have a look inside the key. They are notorious for cracked/dry solder joints. I have a VR and they both failed the same. Car would crank but not start. Very obvious when you open them up.
