transgo 700-2&3 kit nearly fully installed ran out of daylight to finish is so will torque all bolts in the morning modify gouvenor fill with fluid and test drive.havnt looked at the old valvebody to see why it wasnt changing to 3rd properly did notice one large checkball blown out of its special cavity in the trans body itself banged it back in with the trusty hammer and punch dont know if it had much influence on the shift issues but we will see .TV valve was pretty tired on it compared to the new setup .hopefully all going to plan shes like a new one tomorrow if i didnt make any cock ups on the install

When i installed mine i took the plate to the local trans shop and he installed a couple of plate savers i think they were called where the check balls had worn the plate away.

yeah i should of bought a new seperator plate slight wear marks where the checkballs roll in and out of the holes but they still sealed shut as it was.well i have all 4 gears they shift fast and when i command so its good as even have 3rd gear after WOT 2nd :D so all fixed better than ever and oh man the downshift love that part more than anything allways drive manual anyway and now theres no clunk when down shifting just slides in smooth no matter if you on the gas off the gas or full throttle

holden 202 the gouvenor is locked in its fully open position at all times with a special spring in the kit so it will change when you want instead of it needing to spin the gouvenor to speed like normal

launched at 7psi today smoked through all the gears with ease need to lock the diff
