They are about the heaviest valve available for the V6. ZZP ones are a bit lighter and also offer a not so massive exhaust valve which may stave off vsr better, can't remember the exact difference in weight sorry. You'll also need new valve guides as the stem is a bit narrower than stock. I've never had one of these valves give up though which is why I like to use em on anything good

Ah ok the weight im not really concerned about with the lift and duration of my cam it wont hurt them to be a bit heavier but i got a hold of sicsix and hes gonna see what he has available for me to use with this thing i did notice that the stems needed to be replaced if i have to go in that direction it probably wouldn't hurt anyway with the rest of the parts ive put in this thing a few guides wont really hurt hopefully i can find somethong otherwise it will be those ones or some custom made manley ones but they will take 4weeks to make

vt3.8lt wrote:the zzp valves would be good but are way to expencive and the intence racing ones would be good but from my measurements are to big ??? so im still stuck without valves for this build atm i might have to get some made perhaps but i would prefer not to have to
That $64.99 price tag was for a set of six you do realise ?
They are SI brand valves, which I bought a set for my super6 heads. The only concern for you is they say something about not being suitable for Turbo applications. Not sure why this is as they are Stainless valves. Best option is probably the Manley Severe Duty Stainless Valves from Intense Racing. You will probably need to get your valve guides sleeved anyway with bronze guides.

Yeah it's odd cause they sell them for Boosted Supercharged V6's, but then say not suitable for Turbo Applications :turbo:

Weird

I don't know actually. I was thinking maybe that because the exhaust flow of a turbo has to push the turbine wheel around there is some extra heat from back pressure ?
Or maybe I am way off.

That sounds right to me. Pressure and temp are proportional to each other. Law of thermodynamics.

I thought it would have something to do with the extreme heat but as vlad stated they influence each other ill find out what valves sicsix uses tomorrow hopefully they'll be suited to whst im looking for if not custom super duty manley ones it will be
