Hey I'm running wide band O2 in a vn v6 now engine light comes on do I need to check a flag thanks

Assuming you disconnected the narrowband sensor to install the wideband, at a guess you have a code 13??

You can disable the code and also closed loop if tuning from the wideband.

Posting more info can help. Things like the actual fault code, the bin your using, nvram installed or you can program memcals. Etc etc

I have a fast wide band but the analog out put is confusing me if I take sensor out of the pipe and turn it on in simple mode multiples volts x 10 and turn it on petrol scale at 2.74volt the gage shows 21 and in methanol scale with sensor on bench gage at 9.1 the output is 1.56volts any light on this would be helpful

i think 9.7 or something like that is the leanest my wideband shows on the methanol scale which is 22 on petrol, so yours sounds like its reading the same lambda, and just scaling the reading to suit the change in fuel display.

what exactly is the issue you are having ?

I was having trouble working out the scaling verses milivolts but finally found the information on fast tech pages it is 0mv=9.5 and 4096mv=22.5
