VT v6 auto into 2.6 rodeo,

Post by Macca97 »

putting a vt v6 and auto into an old 2.6 rodeo, we're not running the bcm or serial data, and not sure how to by pass them so we can get engine lights happening with the original rodeo dash and to make the bloody thing run, memcal off fleebay or is it hard then that,

do it as a job at work so dont really wanna go to crazy into modifying the computer
why have one 202, when you can have 12 and counting, 30+ car graveyard just for fun aswell

Possibly run a VS Ecotec computer with VATS off if you want the CEL.
Would also get rid of EGR which I'm sure you don't want.

That's a good idea. As long as that ecu can run the VT auto.

It can. Probably not an ideal situation, but I've got a VS2 I fitted with a second hand VT transmission with the standard VS ECU and tune.

It's done almost 40,000km for me and hasn't burnt out the trans yet.
