just wondering if theres a way to reset my vx flash pcm after a bad speed setting change I tried which now makes ose flash tool tell me the cars moving so I cant flash the old bin back in

have you tried removing the battery power ?

yep tried removing power and even made a bench testing setup so nothings connected besides whats needed to log and flash , it tells me in tuner pro that its doing 206kph road speed without it even running

Its not something the flashtool can overcome, only suggestion maybe be a pulse generator on the speed sensor input and try and break the code by overflowing something so TunerPro reads 0 kph.

And the reason why its a problem. The flashing process uses the PCMs RAM to upload code from the PC and then run it, this code does the actual flashing. But to upload code to RAM the PCM needs to be in ALDL mode 5, which the flashtool requests. The PCM code does a check that RPM and KPH are both 0, if they are not the mode 5 request is rejected and that is as far as you can get.
