LMAO last guys that tried dyno tuning it & said they can't get any better without aftermarket ecu actually killed the trans after they finished started flaring everywhere & now in getting rebuilt! They said it was due to a kinked & leaking hose/pipe near cooler & couldn't get a drum to it while on the dyno or some B/s!

There the stock blue top injectors (checked part numbers stamped on 8 injectors) & part numbers match up.

it's stock fuel pump & injector rail (so same regulator).

Don't take offence, PLEASE it just not a good starting point for this car!

Nah none taken mate. 2 different engines. Im just keen to see this happen.
I have little interest in stock motors really. I see that bloke on ebay pumping out "power chips" by the 100.
He can have it. There's a few mate's of mine with some pretty hot motors and I love making them driveable.

I once paid $1200 to have my engine proffesionally (the same one ive tuned myself and you have the file)
Drove like crap. Couldn't drive it on a hot day. Could not sit at a steady speed. Didn't idle. Killed plugs. Poured fuel out the exhaust. Didnt start without foot to the floor. Needed 2 feet to drive.

I then paid $300 for a mail order of a big name delco man from the day who has now shut down. Was (or is) a member on here. Looking at it now im smarter. Was a hsv 185 tune. Thing didnt even run at all.

I then brought kalmaker and just didnt know how to use it. Didn't even no what VE was or meant.
And no support around like there is on here.

So when I see or hear of someone with a hot motor that "cant be tuned" or getting ripped off.
I get a bit keen to help. Because the way my car ended up is amazing. Fair enough I put over 100 hours in it a lot of it was just learning. But learning on something like that is good. It's not very forgiving.

I want to see tbis bloke get this thing running good with a Delco in it. Im sure you can.
Keep us updated with logs etc and how it performs. I didn't tune mine for power. Tuned it for drive ability.

Thanks Dylan,

Yeah I KNOW it can de tuned on factory Delco it's just a matter of time which I hoped it would be straightforward but not quite, but give me a bit & will be fine!

Will keep all updated!

I had a fair bit of throttle opening. Screw wound right in which might help with cranking.
Warm idle was pretty much zero steps.

Spot on, I've been tuning a 355 with a much smaller cam and it ran out of fuel pump.

He's going to need new injectors and high flow pump before it goes on the rollers or you're just going to be chasing your tail.
