OSE 11P V104
Re: OSE 11P V104
Aftermarket GM TPS units have the same bolt up but with slotted mounting holes for adjustment (e.g. you see these on four barrel throttle bodies, I assume you can get them separately). Something's not quite right with that range though, if anything a larger butterfly is going to have slightly more sweep angle (they often go to a negative on modified standard throttle body when closed) so it shouldn't be an issue getting a full 100% with a good sensor.

Re: OSE 11P V104
yeah I don't understand that, is the range a 90 degree sweep ? and is there the little cap on the shaft so the TPS doesn't have play in it before it moves ?
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

According to chemistry, alcohol is a solution...

Yeah I have heard of the issue with not having the cap on end of blade!
I chimed in for another user on this forum as he was having the issue & I hadn't had anything like it before, so I'll leave it up to him to follow up now I've asked the question.
Thanks for the replies though fella's!!

Re: OSE 11P V104
There is a scalar for the code to get the trans TPS reading 100% - still need to have the TPS voltage setup to be within a usable range though.
With the limited info I wouldnt just go playing randomly though, will wait for the mystery user to reply.

Re: OSE 11P V104
JCA said he just disabled the code 22 & set it as best possible but thought the throttle body was poorly designed but I was pretty sure there would have been something to scale weird setup's in!
Re: OSE 11P V104
Hi vl400 and vx l67 getrag im the mystery user - lol , i elongated the mounting holes etc to try and get the best range i ended up with throttle closed 8% open 70% i could get it on 0% closed and only 60% open but i had trouble trying to secure the tps then but there is not hope of the tps reading 100% unless blade angle ended up at 270 degrees open well past the full throttle stop its like the flat section on the shaft is machined in the wrong spot its actually on a vn v8 with turbo 400 so im thinking the tps reading wont be detrimental, i thought maybe their was a way of setting the min and max values like you can on aftermarket ecus, ive had to modify the tps before to read correct but never had one this far out?
Re: OSE 11P V104
also it has the little plastic cap fitted - been caught b4 as well

HEY JCA, Sorry to dob you in I just didn't want people thinking I'm trying to sort out my own issues without naming myself!
I'm pretty sure there is an adjustment you can make, but as I said in the email the most important thing is making sure the voltage is below 0.8 form memory at closed position, then can adjust it from there with W.O.T.

no problems vx l67 getrag yep voltage well under that .8 cant remember at full throttle
