i got a Ridgid 345DL. was 130 bucks, but, first flare i did, no problems. definately a worthwhile investment in a proper flaring tool. 2nd flare i did, still no problems, so, theres a recurring theme here

Thats a very nice bit of gear, had come up a few times as recommended in my searching for flare tools. i didn't end up using the AN fittings. i'm using brass fittings which are 45.Are you not flaring hardline for AN fittings? Thats a 45 degree flare tool.
