Re: GregsVN
dylan, the orange wire is fused +12v from the fuel pump relay, the green with black trace appears to be AC on to the ECU.
i wonder if this was a back door job to try and 'up' the idle OR keep the fan on all the time?

Re: GregsVN
yeah its a bit of a mission of a job to bend them all up, and I've seen the amount of bends in commodores
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: GregsVN
i got the original lines out, then cable tied as i went bending the new pipe to shape. its ally bundy tube so soft and easily bendable which is great, but still pretty tricky.

It's a shit job, I had nothing to copy off when I did my HQ as I had it on straight gas for years and it never had a return line lol

Re: GregsVN
yep. especially when you're about 1-1.5ft off the ground on your back. The steel line that i used on my previous Celica was fucking impossible to bend, and, when it bent too far/too sharp a radius, folded. the alloy stuff i used during the week was much better. LPG copper annealed pipe is also quite workable as well. the hardest part was routing around the rear brake line and fuel tank breather line, and, getting the lines back into the rubber holders/re-bending the clips down to hold them in place.
getting them out is shit easy. if i had to do it again i'd go to the wreckers and pull the entire lot out of a car and find/replace

Re: GregsVN
Why did you have to replace the lines?

Re: GregsVN
i cut them early on the piece down close to the firewall as i was going to do something else. i didn't like the idea of running rubber hose from down there, and, whilst i could have joined them i wasn't keen on that idea either, so i just replaced them instead.
