Tunerpro rt not reading V6 '808 PCM

Post by EVLReD_SPaC »

Im having abit of trouble here with my VN's computer, i cant get it to read the data correctly with the Diagnostics cable pluged in, the numbers just bounce all over the place... EFIliveV4 works fine but doesnt have that data tracing option like tunerpro does. ive tried using all the definitions ive got and its the same result every time. im using the adapter to OBD2 cable, could that be the problem?

Id just like to be able to use both programs instead of just one.

Do you have the 808 ungraded to high speed ALDL?

the 808 is only capable of 160bps where you need 8192bps And you need 12P code to be able to use the 8192bps.

USB comms board if what you add tot he ECU or the SXR board in conjunction with the ALDL adapter cable.

Should be in the for sale section.

its just a standard 808, no upgrades and using the stock plug to OBD2 adapter, i still dont get y its works fine on EFIlivev4 but not on Tunerpro.

I guess the data rate is too slow for tuner pro?

Nobody bothers with stock 160baud on tunerpro because its too slow to be usefull. You can use winaldl, i think thats the most common option. To tune you should add comms and swap to a 12p based tune.
