Forget the Prius and similar vehicles, this is truly insane.

May not have a soundtrack to compete with the V8's, but from a traffic light getaway it's unbelievable.

Re: Electric cars anybody?
Interesting indeed.
V8 supertaxi's don't make for the best drag racing cars, they just aren't geared/setup for it.
There is a guy racing an escort converted to electronic drive and is wining his class here in NZ. Supposed to be reasonably quick.

yeah I agree, im not sure how that tesla accelerates after 100, but I worked out from logs that my car when doing a 10.54 quarter mile is around 3 seconds on the dot 0-100km, so it would have to be a 10 second car or very close to it for sure!
that said I'd prefer the v8 supercar sound any day hehe!

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

pretty unreal, the torque is insane on electric engines 713 ftlb on this car and 2.8sec 0-100, it does a 10.9 on the quarter, not bad for something that weights 2100kg and looks much like a standard family car. Id also note though tthat tesla is 4wd so has start advantage over both other cars, but still just as fast.
