can you take a log with tunerpro of it running and post it up? im keen to see what the computer is doing.
also im curious about the msd setup? are you using a special MSD coil? and do you run a ballast resistor or something?

You bet I can, thanks. I am not running the MSD at the moment, I am just running the Camira setup, incl Camira coil.

But yes the MSD 6AL has a compatible coil and came with a hemi 6 electronic dizzy, I bought it the whole lot off ebay for $130 and it works well, bargain. No ballast resistor.

Cheers.

Just needed to add it is very hard to start in its current configuration i.e. Lots of strain on the starter.

Also hooked up the wideband sensor, got some reading but about 7 on Tunerpro. I changed the carby mixtures and it didn't change at all. Does this sensor need to calibrated in the 12p tune. Cheers

Wideband will need calibrating with 12P. There's a scalar for the 0-5 volt output.

Have you re checked the base timing since swapping the dissy wires?

In case the camira coil is sad why not wire up the msd to the camira module. Take the neg wire off camira coil and connect that to the white trigger wire of the msd. Then connect msd to msd coil and happy days.

I run a msd 6a on my 5 litre like that. Works a treat.

Thanks Dylan, the gauge that came with the sensor crapped itself. Not sure how but it's cactus. Is the way you calibrate by changing the scalar until the gauge and Tunerpro line up of do you need to find out the correct voltage of the sender unit and use that?

Yep checked the timimg since the polarity change and all good. Cheers

Great thanks for that Jayme I was really hoping I could use the MSD. I will be doing that. Yeah there is definitely a big problem somewhere, I was thinking it maybe a vacuum problem leak or bad connection or lead but certainly could be a dud coil. I had it idling absolutely perfectly with the MSD. Cheers

That wideband reading of 7:1 might be fairly close? A standard ignition woud hate that.
