injector differences/kinjflow
just wanting to see if im on the right track,im using the $12p 288 final tune from here on my 304,its almost identical to my setup except im using ls1 injectors instead of the bosch 775 ones that tune is based on.using the kinjflow calculator I put in my injector flow rate (22.5 lb/hr) in the blue section and got 0.110 as the kinjflow.then on tunerpro I entered that number in the mapA displacement/injector flow rate scalar, it came back with 0.1104.is this ok?my fuelpessure is 4400kPa.am I doing things right?!are there any other things I need to change to better suit the differences in the injectors?

Re: injector differences/kinjflow
Let me know how that tune goes that's from my car (old engine combo now) please feel free to share yours once you're finished and as you go post some logs etc. If those injectors are 22lb .1104 sounds about right. Can you confirm that fuel pressure don't sound right? The difference is just tuner pro's rounding that will still be right.
Can you tell me more about the motor and the car it's in?

Re: injector differences/kinjflow
well heres the log heading home from work, hope it works! seems lean as hell!i stopped and changed injector flow on the way home basically cos I was cracking the shits lol!runs bloody lean until acceleration then is not so bad,but changing it to idle and run closer to 14.7 resulted in it not revving well,i was just experimenting really as this is the first time ive made a change on tunerpro to my engine, pick away as you please lol!(but sharing knowledge and advice is usually more constructive!)

Re: injector differences/kinjflow
Dylan, the tune runs quite well so far,a lot smoother than the old engine which was far less angry anyway.just kinda learning slowly how to work this efi stuff!ive got the lend of an innovate wideband as well as the benefit of some experience with tunerpro from a guy which is bloody great!

sorry fuel pressure is 50psi,strange actually it was at about 44 psi earlier.at idle with vacuum disconnected.tomei type s reg. from memory.wagond wrote:just wanting to see if im on the right track,im using the $12p 288 final tune from here on my 304,its almost identical to my setup except im using ls1 injectors instead of the bosch 775 ones that tune is based on.using the kinjflow calculator I put in my injector flow rate (22.5 lb/hr) in the blue section and got 0.110 as the kinjflow.then on tunerpro I entered that number in the mapA displacement/injector flow rate scalar, it came back with 0.1104.is this ok?my fuelpessure is 4400kPa.am I doing things right?!are there any other things I need to change to better suit the differences in the injectors?

Re: injector differences/kinjflow
Think ls1 ran 3.5 bar vn vs ran 3 bar think 3.5 bar is around 52 psi.
Probably best to keep them around that running pressure.

Re: injector differences/kinjflow
ls1 is 4 bar.... 60psi.... if you run less that that then they will not flow as much as they are rated.
