I think your running std v6 injectors that being the case I would start with all the std settings for a V6 in 12P and reset the VE for maximum torque for that engine which I think might be in a lower rev range. Should be fun. Some settings are very easy to work with others like crank take a bit more time but these fellas will keep you on the straight and narrow.
Yes that's when the real fun will begin. I have been reading a lot of old posts lately to do with people's tuning experiences and slowly coming more familiar with some of the terms and tuning procedures. When you first see how many tables etc there are it can be quite daunting but I am now learning that there are only so many that need changing.

yeah that's the biggest thing, do be over whelmed with all the tables, only touch what you need to get it working, and that will likely only be half a dozen or less!

Yeah there is two off the flange but you cant see them because of the angle of the pic. I am going to add another one at each end for good measure which will attach to the manifold studs. Cheers

Looks great. Bet you can't wait to turn the key. Can I ask what this car is going to be used for? I think you said it won't be going on the road.

Thanks Charles, yes will be a big moment when I get this thing running on injectors. If all the stars align it may happen this weekend if I can get the fuel regulator plumbing organised and have enough time. Still trying to get our new kitchen/living room finished so too many things happening at the moment.

Just a quarter miler at this stage (once turbo) but you never know. It would be a big job getting this thing rego'd so in the mean time a lot of the tuning will have to get worked out on a dyno.

Yea have to tune either at the track or on a dyno is a headache. My EVO can only be tuned by taking logs at the track then making the changes then waiting for the next track day. Suppose it's better than loosing your licence. Turbo hey. I would think that engine would respond nicely to boost. Very strong lazy bottom end just waiting for a bit more food to make it get up and go. They went well with the 3 webbers in the league with the V8's so a nice 15-20lb boost wow. Have you seen may with a turbo?

There's a few around with turbos and I think there is one guy pulling 8's in a 265 Centura. I believe the main issue is holding the head down and as always with hemi's the oil pumps are a weak spot but the bottom end in these things, as being based on a US truck motor, are massive. The stock hemi 6 bolts are the size of the hi-performance Holden stuff.

I have a low mile rebuilt 265 on a stand and I just need some good low compression turbo pistons to put in and dowel the head with a good cometic gasket however I could probably get away with the stock pistons up to a certain level of boost.
