You've missed out on all the fun a weeks of spluttering and farting that goes with your first tune.

I don't want to jinx things as it all seems to be going too well. At least it was a lot easier than setting up the ignition, which wasn't really hard, I just had a couple of things go wrong that put me off track. One being playing with the carb mixtures that fouled the plugs, that then put me on a wild goose chase of fixing a rotor timing problem that actually didn't exist.

Good new indeed great way to start the year. Have you got the wideband hooked up and reading correct yet?

Unfortunately not and I am having a bad experience with 14point7. They have acknowledged that the controller is the problem and I assume they were sending a replacement but all I have received back is my gauge and they have not replied to any of my recent emails. I will check with work on Monday to see if there are any packages for me but if not I am going lodge a case with PayPal to see if that Pushes them into action.

Lovely result!

the injectors noise is almost louder than the motor ehehehe!

your now up to the enjoyable part, sorting out the tune so it idles nicely and such :)

just check that tune, I think it will probably have a much higher desired idle than your motor will need!

When I ordered my one it took over 6 weeks to be delivered, he wouldn't respond to emails etc etc. finally he responded and said if I don't receive it in a week he'd ship me another. I think his problem is he's a one man show and just has too much to keep up with, I know it's annoying but he'l get back to you, good luck

Yeah the injectors are certainly rattling away and sound awesome I reckon. The video sounds different than real life though as the phone mic really picked up the injector noise over everything else.

The idles definitively too high for the stock cam so idle rpm will be one of the first things things I check out.

thanks good to know. I understand a bit better now but they should realise how frustrating it is to be overseas and email is the only viable communication. It's not as though you can call them. I sent the gauge back in October.
