yeah I need to smooth out those spikes, but biggvl told me to stop playing with the idle haha.Dylan wrote:There is some sag mode and dead band settings for IAC. In this case id smooth the VE at 800rpm 40kpa areas and log from there no closed throttle VE or learn. The logs show way rich and lean but the wide band reading can be a bit laggy at idle too. Did you start with stock V6 VE table?
Saying that do you think I can get my own car to bloody idle? Thinking something mechanically might be out. Bloody thing just hunts once warm. I've tuned dozens of V8's some heavily worked others stock. This bloody thing ported heads stock ported intake 284 cam. Don't kwow why it's so hard.
it likes 900 rpm idle. its nice then its cool and likes yours goes all wacky once warm. But I already know the cause just need to find the IAC settings associated with it.
No plenum spacer might actually help the idles as there is less delay in filling it the smaller plenum when the IAC opens. My theory is without the spacer the hunting will be a higher frequency with smaller amplitude.
Did you try idling it without the spacer Big G? any difference?
