I could be wrong, but it looks like a misread or some form of custom chip.
There are what appears to be a few comments at FF00 that I haven't seen in factory bins.
I also noticed when doing a compare with BWFU that everything else in the bin appears to be offset by -1, including all the code.
Did it have any stickers on it?

Quick clarify, values in the bin appear to have a value 1 less than BWFU at the same location, the file addresses are NOT offset.
Not all values are 1 less, some are the same.

I think its missing data bit 0 so everything with a 1 in the bit=1 column got a 0 instead so decreased those values by 1

Update: Yep, It says 'VR' Instead of 'VS' In the ascii toward the end, and S is 01010011 and its come out as 01010010 instead making it read VR. V is 01010110 so is unaffected.

Check your connections, specifically to data pin 0. In this picture its pin 11, labelled Q0. Data from that pin seems to be always 0, never 1.

righto might be a silly question but all the eproms ive seen on the vr vs 5litre auto hace the 27c512 written on it this doesnt have it anywhere just 1616 7633 blu4ba29np 980 singapore, not sure if its normal, taken a few readings now, double checked connections, comes up same.

It has to be readable with exactly the same electrical and timing specs as the 27C512, or else the computer wont be able to use it, so you will be fine to treat it as one for the read. It might be some other beast as far as writing goes, but that wont affect you. Also, did you get it in to the reader by desoldering it? If you did its possible that you've cooked the interconnects on that pin inside the chip, which wouldnt be a good thing.
