Decicrate on the JC and L67 forum cut of the flange and welded on some round pipe, 4" I think.

Raise the entry so it's a straight shot not slamming into the bearing block and going uphill

What throttle body did he use.
Did he port the inlet to the blower also?

I saw a great gain from a stock ported one and the ls1 throttle body, this one appears to have a better design from the start.

It's on a stock blower entry with 69mm TB. Plenty more in it yet with further mods although it has already had the bolt bosses removed from the discharge port.

It's probably going to get a cam upgrade so may cop some blower porting too at some stage.

He uses a 100mm throttle body, and the blower inlet is 100mm also. Best to just get one off him. Lots of development went into producing them, and is ongoing. Many blower cases we lost in the process. The price he's charging is quite reasonable for the work involved if that's the way you want to go.

These blowers where not around when i did my ls1 throttle conversion. Im not even sure ADZ had his out then, could be wrong on that

Those heavy modded blowers are a nice bit of gear but at around the 1k its not somthing im willing to spend that amount of coin on unfortunately. They also dont have cruise control either which is something i want to keep also.
I would like one sure but im looking at going down the path of the ADZ ubend and a 92mm throttle body which will set me back less than half of what the 100mm items go for and should still see great gains over what i have now.

Hey thanks for that!!

Yep it is all 100mm from the TB to the case.
I have destroyed a few cases now to get the final result, but to get it right takes time and testing.

I have done some Kalmaker logs and some back to back dyno testing to show what the difference is between a stock setup and the Brushworks M90.

I think it is important to show real data when doing modifications so that people get the facts and not just some number that is a mere guess....

If you have Facebook you can check out all the information here, just need to scroll down to find it all.

For those that may not have FB, here is some of the information.

Log 2 Brushworks M90 2.55 pulley.
The test was done on the same day as we swapped over the blower at the dyno so temps and so forth stayed as close as possible

Some nice gains there!! Looks like there could be more to come by tailoring supporting mods?

Yeah, now it comes down to what else has been done.
I am doing an exhaust on Rowans car this weekend and he has fitted the BW cam.
I think his barrel cooler will run out of flow, but we are going to shove some E85 into it and see if what we end up with!!

OK, so I bolted this sucker on today unfortunately there were some hiccups along the way :(

Got the map sensor on and working this morning with the logger, all good there, however the car didn't want to start when I turned the key, it just ticked like it had a flat battery.... Tried it again and it did start the 2nd time. This battery has been on it's way out so I didn't think much off it and went for a spin around the block. Anyway, this is the result:

Came home and time for breakie.... Finally got around to bolting the new elbow on after lunch but then the car didn't want to start again..... Long story short it now has a new battery but noticed a few changes, for starters it was idling at a lower kpa than with the old battery? Really not sure what the go is there as the MAP sensor reads exactly the same as before with only the ignition on.

Took my boy up the road to Fitness plus as he wanted to buy a weight bench etc and managed to give it a good boot full coming up the motorway onramp unfortunately didn't actually keep my boot planted. Also, air intake temps were a lot higher this afternoon, 44° C Vs 26° C this morning. So between the battery issue and air temps and not keeping my boot planted the data isn't really comparable but I'll post a screen shot of the results anyway.

So I'm going to have to log another run when it's cooler to get some decent comparable data, hopefully the tune will have settle down after a full reset with the battery been changed too. Unfortunately the rain has set in here so no more testing today.
