Re: FRAM NVRAM Board
I knew I should have brought my mouse with me today...
Re: FRAM NVRAM Board
I use excel to interpolate the values....
paste 5D VE table in the top, and copy the 12P VE table out the bottom.

Re: FRAM NVRAM Board
And I've just about finished by averaging values, I'll see how close I got to the interpolated numbers excel spits out

Re: FRAM NVRAM Board
Wait, did you just make that?!?! I am completely clueless when it comes to excel. Great work!
Don't have excel installed on the laptop, getting Libre office now. Hopefully they're compatible

Re: FRAM NVRAM Board
How does it work? Interpolate in row or columns or both? Does it follow a curve or is it linear between adjacent points?
We could probably use your skills in our work!

Re: FRAM NVRAM Board
its just linear. first it calculates the missing RPM rows by averaging the two cells directly above and below. then once it has full rows of data it gets the missing MAP columns by averaging the cells to the left and right. nothing fnacy, but it saves a whole lot of manual work. The end result in fuelling is pretty much the same as how the ecu code interpolates adjacent cells anyway, so the fuel map should work the same as it did in the pulsar bin.

Re: FRAM NVRAM Board
OK, so here's what I have so far:
I haven't touched any of the warmup stuff, I figure I'll warm up on the TBI memcal then put 12P in. Anything obvious I've missed?

Re: FRAM NVRAM Board
num cylinders needs to be 4. your spark advance will be way out using 2cyl.... the memcal resistor pack determines the injector timing (TBI, 4,6,8) then the value in the calibration forms part of the formula for calculating the spark advance.
ill keep looking through your bin and note anyhting else.
