As per the title, was watching the good sam 500 at Phoenix and they mentioned that Kasey Kahne blew an engine in qualifying because it wouldn't shut off (assume it was dieseling). The commentator mentioned that the team had stated that the engine had run in reverse and is why it blew up, these engines are EFI...
Must be really pushing the limits if they are running on their own oil...

I did a tour of there setup years ago when I was living in the U.S., smc pneumatics wanted our business with the company I was working for and asked if we were into nascar, I asked why and he said his father inlaw is mates with the owner so we had a guided tour with "the" man ! The day after the fellow Americans we worked with were shitty as, they'd loose limbs to do what we did lol
