According to chemistry, alcohol is a solution...

I'm tipping u guys give each other a bump or 10, that dosnt look like it could and mcbros is normaly drag. It may be ok, we can also beef it up, the lower gall joint looks compromised in my opinion, but can beef it up

Your right though mate, that's why I suggested it originally
Whilst your at it, have a look at there rear end conversions......

I was looking at that too last night, I think the heim joint mounts need to be wider and use spacers because how it is in those pictures the outer part could possibly contact the mounting point through it's range of motion.HQ355 wrote:I'm tipping u guys give each other a bump or 10, that dosnt look like it could and mcbros is normaly drag. looks very similar to the control arms in my mates late model, so probably would work well for speedway

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Soooo.... Took the car out for a shake down run today, HOLY SHIT!!! very different car, super fast and really well balanced, very easy to drive quick. Pulls really hard out of the turns and you really need to 'feed' throttle rather than stab like Im used to. I started rear in race two and lapped the field by lap 8
only to be taken out by a rookie in a Kingswood that couldn't drive. Stripped the splines on the steering rack input shaft and banged up the brand new panels
oh well, thats speedway
some things to fix are -
move steering wheel and throttle forward 2 inches
Get tyre monitor working (read temps not pressure?)
Diff ratio change
Other than that she's good to go and gives me lots of confidence

What an animal. Sounds as though your hard work is paying off. Too bad about the accident, but you and the car will live to fight another day.
