rubber strip on vn commodore sill

Post by psyolent »

so, under the door, running the length of the the sill (or rocker) there is a rubber strip on the VN.
i need to remove this as I have to paint that area (silver)
does anyone know how to get this off so it can be re-used OR is it a hack and slash /remove with flames (because fire) and put a new one there
advice appreciated

Nope, they are clipped on over studs on the sill, a light pry with something non scratching will do the trick.

Or just kick it off with your boots everytime you get out of the car like me
According to chemistry, alcohol is a solution...
