turbo vs v6 burnout car

Post by drakey_01 »

hey all i've been a long time lurker in the background, first time posting, as above i have a vs v6 wagon that i've turbo'd purely for use as a burnout car, its a full ghetto setup, flipped manifolds ''custom" crossover pipe, 38mm ebay gate, ebay bush bearing t70, mace 25mm plenum insulator, mace 12mm plenum spacer, 70mm throttle body, msd coils (they were in the shed) and fuel wise its sotck fuel reg, l67 injectors and i'll be putting an 044 equivalent pump in soon, now it starts and runs fine on the stock memcal albeit very fuely as to be expected, ive got a willem gq-4x programmer and a couple of socketed chips from a lad i work woth that used them in his l67 vy calais, my issue is i can clear the chips and write to them no worries but the car will not fire on them, ive tried various bins from here with no luck, any help on this would be appreciated.

Possibly a check sum error. Try burning a bin from the enhanced section.

i've tried the vs l67 enhanced, vs v6 enhanced and a few different vs v6 ones that where floating around ( don't know how to paste them sorry), i figured id get away with l67 1 as a base, then its going to go to the dyno for a few logged runs and just fix up whatever it needs from there. honestly i think they were just set at 000000 ? sorry for the stupidity on the subject lol i'm fairly mechanically minded and just thought id have a crack, and im betting its probably something so small i'm missing

Did you select SST27F010 in the device box of the burner?

Should be no need to change the offsets for those bins on these chips.
