Re: ALDL Logger V2
I hope someone can help me. I dragged out my logger after a long rest and things don't seem right. When I press the connect button it jumps straight into the large live data screen. To get back to turn on the record I have to press through quiet a bit but do get there. I press the record button and it all looks nice indicating it's recording. Next I try to play the log which looks like its been recorded but there is nothing there. No log plays. Tunerpro says its playing but there is nothing. I went back over some old logs and they play fine so I assume the ADX is working. I updated the logger to the latest firmware and I have upgraded 12P to the latest version. Can this be the cause of my problems or is the logger playing up.

Re: ALDL Logger V2
i've seen blank logs when you have the wrong ADX loaded try loading another adx and log , totally different one, then re-load and see if it works

I'll give it a go. I just logged OK with my laptop setup. What concerns me is I don't remember it jumping into the data screen before. I am sure I connected then scrolled own one step then pressed record. Anyway I will have another look at the ADX.

Re: ALDL Logger V2
there are some settings in the logger for auto connect and record and stuff like that might be worth checking them ?

Re: ALDL Logger V2
Jumping to a large digits screen is the alarm setting. Whatever it jumped to is the item that triggered it. Page 14, alarms and fault output, of the instructions has the details on it. Some items, such as target afr, are a problem if connecting with the engine off as they will be outside normal threshold limits that you set for a running engine.
I suspect TP updates are breaking the ADX file playback as the same thing happened on the 11P ADX which used to work ok, but if you let me know which ADX you are using in the latest release zip (first post here) I will check it out.

Re: ALDL Logger V2
OK I used the 11adx and linked to my VR and it logged and played back fine. The only problem I had was I had to push the connect button several times before it linked and if I disconnected it was almost impossible to reconnect. Is this an ECU problem? I'll give it a go again tomorrow with 12P. I did have success with my laptop recording and playing a log but need to sort out the logger ADX. Yes VL400 it was the target air fuel ration that kept coming up. I know it was well off the mark but that's the first time I have seen that happen. Most of my logging is done with the laptop but on the track I used the logger and it did a fantastic job but it looks like my ADX's might not be compatible or corrupted. See what happens tomorrow.

Re: ALDL Logger V2
$11, 11P & 12P are all completely different ADX's & need to use the correct 1 for the pcm/bin in the vehicle as the connection will be different for all of them!
