Hmm ok cool sounds good cheers for the input guys will do this in the mornin and see what happens it was on 22 deg as per the stock settings for the 11p but it did loose vacume so ill turn it up but by bit n see how it affects the vacume keep in mind though the rings arent seated yet so its not going to get heaps till that happens
Yeah idling not good for fresh rings but neither is a ricj mixture like that especilly if it's killed plugs.
Busy situation tuning that straight up. Be good fun I love that sort of stuff!
Maybe look at wide band VE learn at the start.
Yeah thats y i want to get it onto the dyno or out on the street so they can be beaded in asap but the plugs were just really shit brand etc so it was no supprise they died
turned up the timing on this thing at idle and it seemed to help so i took it out and seated the rings on it and i was just watching back a quick log i took for the hell of it and it was saying it got to 182kpa witch google said is 26psi? is this accurate cause the boost gauge didn't move past 10psi from what i seen also where is the manual option in the 11p i feel ive been through all the flags looking for it but im unable to find it ?? cheers dane
That 182kpa is measured dfferent to say 182 kpa out of your air compressor at home. There's more to it than I understand but 100kpa is atmosphere so 180 would be around 10psi in round number's.
There's no manual flag on 11P but VL400 has talked about it a s a one day job. There's a bin around here that has all the auto stuff flagged posted by VL400. I have it on my laptop somewhere too.
Yeah it is as simple as that. Atmospheric pressure is 100kpa. So subtract 100kpa for the amount of pressure on top of atmospheric pressure aka boost.
Ok, depending on temperature and height above sea level atmospheric pressure might not be exactly 100kpa on a given date at a given place. But it'll be close enough that you can call it 100kpa for checking your boost.
