thats actually the first real big burnout i've ever done in the gemini other than a few 5 second things in the shed or burnouts at the drags, so i was interested to see how it went, top gear burnouts with stockos works well heheh

i had planned to pop the tyres, but i heard a funny noise so pulled out of it, turns out it was the steel belts hitting the guard, and when i stopped the tyre was like a donut and about 5mm from the lip of the bottom of the guard which could have ended nasty!

yeah my brother has a nice sized shed in a rural area, and i had to store the gemini out there for a few months while i was working on my brothers V6 commie so made sense to take some tyres out there for some fun :)

this reminded me, my brother did a burnout cause it was bathurst day and they were all half pissed :)

this is the old N/A 202 from the gemini, with a methanol 500 holley on it and delco for spark only, only issue was sustained high revs kept emptying the float bowl quicker than the pump could re-fill it!

as i still own the motor my brother rang me up and asked if i minded if he did a burnout in it, i said as long as you get a video and data log it :P

Nice skids! Best sounding VS six cylinder ;)

And just to add a V8 in the mix, this was when my car had a VR V8 many many years ago ...
