I don't think lean cruise is enabled, I also isolate the battery every time it gets home as its my toy so long term fuel trims wouldn't be doing much either. Like Vlad said its a tourque monster, 470nm at the wheels at 3500 with a 6spd and 4:11's awesome overtaking on the highway it's like being on a bike, just a little gap and job done ! Had a phase 2 ho behind me today, he was itching at the bit to catch me and when he finally did I let rip at 60 and skated it for a block or so and he didn't want to play after that lol

when the tuner did my VN years ago with the raptor, he put the 'lean cruise' from the 'later' models (this was early noughties) into the VN map and set it up so it would go into lean cruise mode faster. post re-mapping and the supercharger installed, economy improved quite a bit!
do it sammy. get it on the road man.
that video was funny as. how shit did that poor Saab sound? jb weld the blow off valve in place, 'yeah it doesn't leak as much'
Cheers,

Yeah, Holden didn't push the envelope much when it came to tuning the 304. Even HSV were fairly poor really when with a decent exhaust/ cold air intake and a tune you can easily exceed what they put out.

At the end of the day Holden designed the engine to run on crap fuel which it did comfortably with the power/performance targets set for em.

I've had mine down in the 9.5/100 a few times quite easily, may be I should play with lean cruise, also fitting cruise control so it can only get better :)

well back when i jokingly mentioned it to my engineer he wasn't so worried about cutting into the firewall to fit the motor, he was more worried about the fabricated diff mounts into the rear floor....

i'm sure it is all engineerable if you try hard enough, but then the race car is a race car so it doesn't have to be a compromise for a streeter!
