Has anyone used one of these? Any good or any good for the cost of it? Doesn't have a huge temperature range though.

never used one myself but it would want to be good for the price!

I've used them, mostly just the laser pointer type, we do have a FLIR type at work, very handy.
I used one once to diagnose a dodgy injector once by measuring exhaust port temps.

This one is from Flir but is an attachment for an iphone turn it into a simple thermal imaging camera
