after removing injectors to fit new ones ,
I discovered a few hair line cracks in the inlet manifold ,slight fuel stain in the cracks.
After much thought I decided better to make a new one, rather than re-weld old one and deal with the shrinkage probs .
So I went with longer runners and a round plenum which shall be less prone to cracking than the previous box shaped one ,
so now I have better access to spark plugs ,shifted peak torque down 1000 rpm and increased torque ,stronger design .
Have run Out of welding gas so will have to finish tomorrow.

3 hour return trip to get gas , anyway living in a remote area has other benefits .
finished welding just have to make injector rail mounts and tidy it up.
