Lean when cold

Post by 0081 »

I have a lean condition when the motor is cold and i cant seem to see the table i need to make the needed changes. If someone can give me a hand that would be much appreacted
Once warm the fuel is just about spot on so i know that side ok

I'm using this XDF
VY_V6_$060A_Enhanced_v0.9.xdf
(253.3 KiB) Downloaded 246 times
The table is probably there I'm just missing it

Thanks Pete

Just do a search under tools-parameter finder with the word cold and you will see all the settings associated with a cold engine. There should be a table there for cold air fuel ratio.

I didn't pay close enough attention to the air flow, took a quick look and went yep i need to add fuel here and did it with out really thinking hard about it.

once i sat down and had a good look it was idling just above to the 200 cell for cylair, i was adding fuel in the 200 cell and blending it up into the 250 cell but once it was hot it was idling between 150 and 200 so it was eventually getting rich when it got warm. This got me thinking there was a table that had an offset for temp but their wasn't. I just needed to add more fuel in the 250 cell.

Looking at it now it makes perfect scene and i just needed to have a good think about it.
