Does 424 Need the BCM regardless of vats off?

Holden/Delco Tuning. ALDL, OBD 1.5. Circa 1989 to 2004.

Does 424 Need the BCM connected regardless if vats turned off?

no it doesn't need it, turn VATS off and its good to go.
