Odd abs error

Yesterday i changed wheels to 20 inch and it was odd i got this abs error after about 30 seconds with the engine running thinking it was sensor or bad connection i had bumped something i never looked much further into it.
Today i plugged the laptop in and noticed the voltage was rather high like 17 volts suspect the regulator faulty or bad connection maybe but will find out later today.
Oddly enough when the voltage goes high the abs error light comes on.
Thought this might be useful for others if they ever have the same symptoms.

Changed the alternator all good no more abs light .
What are the chances of it failing the same day i changed the wheels :roll:

the alternator on my mates 304 has just started with a bearing squeal the same time we changed the oil in it :P
