The addresses are different for every strategy. I'm sure if you are creative you can figure them out though.

I'll won't be giving away full definitions but I will provide limited demo ones and the ability to define your own. Be similar to rom raider in that regard.

If you have hpt why don't you just buy credits? It is pretty cheap and they map a reasonable number of parameters, maybe not as many on the ba but you can still tune the vehicle.

I only have the VCM suite software.
I didn't think it would work with the openport 2.0.
If it does I would buy credit today.
I thought the hp tuner programmer was a dongle as well & the software needed to see it to work.

Does anyone know of a way around this?

HPT for these model ecu's wont read bin format, and the latest version wont allow bin format at all, it used to allow some ecu formats but they realized its to easy to reverse engineer and dropped it off.
The open port will not work with HPT without an account/dongle you wouldn't be able to even buy credits. I'd be hanging out for Rolls program, or buying VCM Suite dongle.
If you make they changes you want with HP and can screen shot the changes you want I could put em on the ecu for you, if you send it up.

Rolls, you advised on another forum "PM me on pcmhacking if you'd like to trial the alpha version" is this offer still available?
Thanks

I don't really need any more testers at this stage but I will when the beta is released. What vehicles are you looking at using it with, do you have a workshop?

Ok that's fine, the bulk of my work is Holden, to a much lesser degree is the Ford turbos. I have an FG xr6T development vehicle using VCM Suite.

The VCM Suite software I would rate at close to 10/10 for Holden. The VCM Suite ford tuning software around 4/10, understandable given how relatively small this market is from VCM Suite's perspective. I was just interested in your trial version to see what it is about.
Thanks

The alpha was trialling the flash read/write for those vehicles, it doesn't provide any editing functionality just allows you to read/write to binary files. Now that I'm fairly happy with how it works I'm working on the editor program and porting the flash read/write over to it.

If you subscribe to this thread I'll let you know when the editor beta editor program is out which is probably more what you are interested in.

What cables do you have? if you have a VCM2, mongoose or something other than an OpenPort that would be useful data. Let me know and I'll send you a link.
