Re: Gregs Fleet
Immo. Press pics please
need to see if I can improve on my design
Wife's shopping truck was up for some loving today. I got some injectors recoed a while back - time to put them in. And clean the throttle body and top of the inlet manifold. But hit a small snag. The gasket set for the VX2 is different. Alot. The VX1 and VT1/2 have like an O ring for the throttle body and the plenum to lower inlet manifold gasket is rubber. The VX2 has a paper type gasket like the VN does for the throttle body and the plenum to lower inlet manifold is a steel gasket. Weird. So my gaskets I had on hand were fail.
It did give me the chance to clean all the crap out of the existing plenum box, throttle body, IAC and top plenum cover. My hands are good and black now, that shit cakes on hard. Pics in a tic.
EDIT : Pics
Black

More black

Srsly?

Better

Betterer

Much betterer

A big arse brake rotor off a Nissan

Oh, also had to replace the fan speed resistor as that was dead too.
