Map B is for the map switch function. Connect a switch to pin B9 and to ground, wherever you see map b it uses that map instead of map a when you switch pin B9 to ground. Here is the list (copied from the OSE 12P thread) ...

Map Switch Function Using Pin B9 Switches...
-----Rev Limit
-----Spark Advance Tables
-----Cold Engine AFR
-----Target AFR
-----Idle AFR
-----Stoich AFR
-----Lean Cruise
-----Initial Run AFR Offset
-----Cranking BPW
-----Option Flags
-----Injector Flow Rate

Been there since the very first beta, it evolved over the beta stages to include more tables. Its possible to use it for simple Hi/lo octane tables all the way to running dual fuel like methanol and petrol.

just splice in run to switch then from switch to ground does
that sound right?

well my calcs see inj rate of .089 and with fudge factor its probably pretty right the number you have ....

do you mind posting the stock tune up so i can have a look at it ? be interested to see whats been tickled.

its located in the air cleaner base on 45 deg pointing towards the airfilter from inside,
heres the tune be good if you can tell me what ive done wrong or havent done.
only thing i changed was inj rate and used an sv5000 spark map.

most things i've looked at look ok to me, some of them seem a bit funny though....

if its a stock tune with just inj rate changed thats going to be part of your problem, if its got a cam in it with less vaccum that stock it will be really rich at idle.....

what was the numbers on the stock eprom sticker or the number of the vr tune you modified ?
