Don't know if you have seen it but some guys are trying to sell these little OBD plug in devices that apparently picks up how you drive and alters a tune for you to be more powerfuel

Whats your thoughts on how these work? apparently there all quite universal, so what is it doing to the data stream from the OBD port?

A friend of mine recon he tried one in his mazda premacy and noticed no change.

Then in his VX and apparently no real power but the shifts had firmed up ( I dont believe this and if it did i would imagine it would be doing something like faulting the trans to full line pressure or something)

There cheap enough to buy and open up to see whats going on with them
