and of course the stupid fan in the HVAC has died in the VX. right when it was crazy hot the other day. so no fanny for me. pulled it out, took it apart and cleaned it, no dice. dead.

yes mate. normally when the resistor tranny has cooked it will work on high only and no vairable speed. irony - my wifes died about 3 weeks ago. so i pulled the fan out tonight. applied voltage to it and zero spinning action going on. took back off fan motor, cleaned out, back together, applied voltage, no dice. a friend has one for 25 bucks i will grab, chuck that in and take the old one apart to see if i can see where its gone bad/failed.

fan replaced and we're in business again. not sure why the original one died. will see if i can figure out why. common problem with these things.

dash morning this morning for my VX. no more dead globes. in dash or the bloody clit control.

also finally got around to putting the drivers side pocket on the back of the seat. years ago when i bought my VX they were both never there. got new clips a while back, now finally fitted :)

i have multiple clit control units as you can see :)
either way the globes and thing works effectively.
