Antus, I am still confused. I would have thought that if v104 does not support the TP5 plug-in then the hardware detect would not happen.

Its to do with the ALDL code handling in the 12P bin and its interaction with the plugin, try it on V105 or earlier and update an entire table and you will see why. The simple solution is to not worry about it and spend 10 minutes upgrading to the latest version.

Just a hint for the TP5/V110 challenged, appologies if the question has already been answered. Have loaded v110 in NVRAM + v6 cal, engine runs ok. Then tried the "upload to emulator" & "download to TP5" functions. Both actions resulted in "success" acknowledgements. Parameter flag change appeared to be stored in NVRAM but tables changes did not take. Where have I gone wrong.

mag I had a similar issue turned out you need to close the table an reopen it to get the fresh data. Hope this helps

Thanks ToyHicko, although I thought I had saved my table changes before I did the upload, must have missed the "save" step for the tables. Have run through the process again & confirmed I saved changes & all ok now. Just finger trouble.

Next question, tried "download current bin from emulator to file", get "RAM dump success" but bin file table data all zeros.
Any suggestions.

im not sure what you mean by "bin file table data all zeros." but oseplugin only actually downloads and uploads the cal segment. you cannot actually use a bin that has been downloaded through it, you still neeed the flashtool for that. the downloaded bin file will be 32k but only the cal segment adn the rest is padded with zeros.

I was getting the same thing again but try it again and it worked I'm still 100% sure if I had TP5 emulation or not just something to look out for. I've tried both since and if not emulation you get a file filled with zero's and still says successful so just double check you have the "green light" on. Another thing I found is that with the NVRAM you need to grab a 64kB not the 32 this will also return a file of zeros.

Other thing is the plugin only currently works in the plugin area of the program. I believe its best to do the uploading and download in flash tools at this stage.

When I said bin table file all zeros, I was referring to a VE table ie the cal values, my poor description. My stuff-up, the chip size set at 32k, I did not download a large enough block of NVRAM memory to get cal data. All works ok after allowing for the nut behind the wheel.

Holden202, this is where my ignorance will show, have not used "realtime", just used the "upload bin to emulator" funtion to get the new cal into the NVRAM & "download bin from emulator to TP5" & "download bin from emulator to file" function to get the cal back.

I will get realtime change capability using "enable/disable emulation" function? I assume I should setup using appropriate bin/xdf & then change parameters as desired. Which TP5 button causes the parameter update or does the parameter "save" function do it, again excuse my ignorance.
