RA Rodeo Replace ECU

Edited my original post. I have done a bit of research.

my Rodeo has a VZ Ecu.
9211506 E55 AAAA
Service number 12600940.

looks like my ecu has a faulty injector driver and I need a replacement. I need to try and get this done on the cheap as we have just replaced the timing chain etc $2K to sell the car and now this problem when the car is only really worth 4-5K.

From what I have read the ec is linked to the BCM and PIM and VIN locked. In another thread I read that people have been able to program with HP Tuners. but unsure if it will work with re writing locked VIN without original car VIN?

from what i remember about VZ there is a pin code that links all the modules, you need the security code from the old car to be able to change it to your car. Tazzi would be the guy to ask he might chime in.
